Video Footage Licensing Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions for the supply of original footage from the library of
Travel TV Production's "Holiday Destinations", "Sky Destinations" "Planet Holiday" programmes and all relating rushes

Material is available from our vast library of footage recorded around the world by our productions teams over the past years.

[Over 2500 hours from over 80 countries]

Most camera originals are BETA SP or DV

All programmes have been mastered to BETA SP

The footage is available for delivery on the following formats:

Beta SP or DV

The following Conditions apply:

1. All rights vested in the video material remain the property of HolidayNet.Com Ltd - "Holiday Destinations" & "Destination" "Planet Holiday"

2. Footage is provided and is licensed for a specified single programme use only for one year and unlimited screeings within that time. The licensee has no rights whatsoever in sublicensing or selling 'HN' owned footage to any third parties, without the express written permission of the copyright owners, HolidayNet.com Ltd

3. Production companies are to inform HolidayNet.com Ltd of the intended use of the material at the time of requesting footage.

4. All library material supplied is on loan, sub-masters must be returned after the production is completed. Damaged tapes will be charged for, including dubbing costs.

5. A VHS dub or DVD of the finished programme produced by the licensee using licensed footage must be forwarded to HolidayNet Com Ltd , after completion.

6 License fees are as follows:

a] for broadcast* use at £350 for the first 30" and at £200 per minute or part minute thereafter

b] all other use at £300 for the first 30" and £200 per minute or part minute thereafter.

c] Licensee to pay for search fees at £60 per hour [1hr min.]

d] Licensee to pay for transfer at £60 [minimum fee] per hour plus tape stock.

7. INTERNET use - not permitted under standard terms and conditions -apply for special conditions and is subject to Travel Media Solutions Ltd* compression of all edited video clip/s]

8. Requests for footage must be in writing [fax or e.mail ] indicating likely length needed, and must be pre-paid before material is released. Should more material be used by licensee than originally specified the closing account will be calculated after completion of production by licensee which must be paid within 7 days of
completion of edit.

All payments are due as stated and outstanding amounts will incur interest at the current statutory rate

9. Library material may be pre viewed on VHS with BITC. Each half hour [minimum] VHS tape will be charged out at £20 , 50% of which is recoverable
from final payment provided total fees exceed£1000 exc. VAT.

10. HolidayNet.Com Ltd reserves the right not to supply production companies if it felt that the intended production of a programme may be detrimental to HolidayNet.com Ltd interests. All charges are subject to 17.5% VAT

11. Terms and conditions may be revised without notice.
